My New BKR-9000 Radio / Unboxing

Hello everyone and welcome back to another exciting video, the new BKR9000. I wanted a radio like this because it will do (NAS) Nonaffiliated scanning. I was watching a few videos on Moto radios and the next video was the BKR9000. When I saw it will do NSA, I watched the video about 10 times, then decided to order one three days later. Truthfully, I had no plans to buy one until. Please, if you decide to order one to do NAS you will most likely need to also purchase these 3options : BKRBAB, BKR0579 & BKR0593, that is for P25 TDMA Trunking Upgrade, Phrase 1&2 trunking & P25 digital. As a side note, the duoslot desk charger will only charge ONE battery at a time, although both are inserted!!! When the primary battery/slot is fully charged, it will automatically switch and start charging the second battery, thats how it was designed, it's not a defect. You also get a durable plastic holstercase, with a belt clip to carry on your belt. The Moto APX8000 has the same design concept, BUT, I call it center of gravity. Why? the radio will most likely to pivot forward or backwards. For my personal thoughts, I am making a leather carry case where a belt clip is placed more towards the top, therefor, the radio will always stay upright, smart. I wish not to mention pricing because installed features may vary (from what you need to use the radio for). The job site I work at uses the 800band, and when I handle baggage I use a tiny 800 antenna in its place.
I should mention the top channel knob is a different feel from what Moto uses. When rotated there is a slight movement or sluggish feel to it & the volume control knob, when turning toon the click is after. The entire edge of the radio has a special hard rubber feel to it, a better grip. The radio is a tiny tad bit larger all around than the Moto APX8000. So far the radio looks great, I will do another video on how it works. Each year I get better with radios. I was going to get the Kenwood VP8000 with DMR but I already have a few others . So, with the chance to program a digital trunk system on a prograde radio is once in a life time. Thats all for now and thanks for watching.
A big thanks to Adventure Cruiser and his video.
