I recently made a video about how I want to switch to Software Engineering so I thought I'd talk about my mechanical/manufacturing engineering career so far. This could be probably the only video where I'm in this industry. If everything goes as planned I won't be a mechanical engineer for much longer.
I'm 2 years out of college! This may or may not be useful to students out there who want to see what it looks like to major in engineering.
I went to community college for my first 2 years and then transferred to a university as a Mechanical Engineering major and then later switched majors into Manufacturing Engineering (for bad reasons). I did a few internships and have had 2 different jobs since graduating in December 2017.
I hope you find something in this video insightful!
