The four steps to turning an inexpensive eye of round cut into a tender and delicious steak are as follows:
1. Tenderize with a meat hammer
2. Brine with course sea salt
3. Marinate in unsweetened sparkling water
4. Sous Vide at 135140F for 3 hours
Then finish prep your steak on the BBQ, electric grill or skillet, basting in melted butter or olive oil, while seasoning with salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
