As promised, here's the video of my first pike fishing tournament ever but where are the giant northern pike hiding because Guillaume and I have a VERY rough time finding them! Last weekend on May 8th 2021, the Montreal chapter of Muskies Canada hosted their very popular pike tournament online for the first time via Fish Donkey, which was open to anyone fishing in the Quebec zone 8 fishing area, which is basically all waterways around Montreal.

The format for this pike fishing tournament is best 2 fish in terms of combined length per team and you could have teams of up to 4 people per boat and there were 108 teams registered, so well over 250 people participating, including the GOAT of musky and pike fishing, Mike Lazarus. (If you don't know who Mike is, Google his name).

Neither Guillaume nor myself were able to prefish the event, so the last time we were on the water was back in March... it would prove to be our undoing. Watch the video to see how we do, our big gamble, and let me know what YOU would have done different!
