Today we explored how to drift for catfish and pulled planer boards with cut bait in search of Monster Blue Catfish , Monster Flathead or any other giant Catfish out on Lake Wylie in SC. Trolling for catfish is a great way to cover more water and find the fish.
I was able to catch my first Giant Blue Catfish thanks to my good buddy Nelson Waters with Red, White and Blues Catfishing.

My Video equipment was my Gopro Hero 9 and my new Gopro Max 360.
The Gopro Hero Max 360 is going to be a great addition, stay tuned for a follow up video with tips and tricks as i get it dialed in and figure out the best mounting options.

We used Santee Rigs behind BKat Planer Boards as well as some DIY Boards that Nellie built.
We Drifted and used the Motorguide xi5 trolling motor to pull us along around .5 mph
