VoteSaxon07 and The Fate of the Idolized YouTuber

Stephen McCulla, or VoteSaxon07, was a massively influential figure in my life growing up. His work, content, and style of humor helped to inspire me not only creatively, but personally as well, and while it's been years since I've watched his content, I often looked back fondly at watching this selfproclaimed internet manchild rant about all things geeky. However, like many others, I was beyond horrified when Stephen reentered my thoughts early this year. It’s my hope that in this video I can both give a new perspective on the man and this tragedy from the eyes of a former fan, as well as touch upon the all too common mistake of idolizing our online peers, and the risks that come with that.
