To be an airline transport pilot, one of the requirements that must be met is completing an ATP CTP course. The course was created as a result of the 2009, Colgan Air Flight 3407 that crashed in New York, killing 49 on board, and one on the ground. The ATPCTP class intends to bridge the knowledge and experience gap between a commercial pilot certificate and a pilot operating in a 121 or 135 air carrier environment.

I spent 7 days at Delta Air Lines, in Atlanta, Georgia. Delta Professional Services(DPS) provides ATPCTP training. 30 hours of ground school, 10 hours of simulator time. Great speakers, Delta Flight Museum access, and other perks were provided as well. It was a great course!
