My daughter came home crying after she was invited to a Christmas party at my husband's parents' house. When I asked her why she was upset, she handed me a giftwrapped present without saying a word. "Mom, look at this. Why did this happen to me?" she asked. I was shocked when I opened the present it wasn't something meant for a child.
