It was his first day home and so little Mouser kitten explored the downstairs and the bathroom. He'd be staying in the bathroom until he got used to the entire apartment and our two other cats, Aurora and Chloe. I stayed with him for a few hours to make sure he didn't feel as alone and scared from the new surroundings. And I stayed with him most of the following days as he adjusted to his new world. That's probably why he enjoyed hanging out in the bathroom with me so much. It made him feel nostalgic and safe.
