This video describing the mounting of a sealed SKF Spherical Roller Bearing intended to be used together with the mounting card 14231 (http://bit.ly/1qdTuVW). The bearing is mounted on an adaptor sleeve using a hook spanner, and the correct mounting fit is reached by tightening the KMFE lock nut according to the tables in the mounting card. By mounting the bearing according to this procedure, the inner ring will be mounted with an interference fit, reducing the risk of fretting corrosion. It is not necessary to measure the residual radial clearance after mounting.
