Learn the popular baby names / most popular names in some of the generations. I cover some of the top names for the Silent Generation, the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z.

The data I used came from here: https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/

I used the PEW Research Center years for the generations and then I counted how many times a name appeared in the top five, looking at every year of that generation. If multiple names appeared every year, the "top name" for the generation would be assigned by how high it placed in the top five. I generally mention all names that at some point occurred in the top five for each generation, though and also mention top names for the decade (minus the 1940s, oops, but here it is: https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/de...)

I also go into some background on some of these names like possible reasons for popularity in a few cases.
