Another snow blockage on July 19th! In this Ep17 we leave our Camp Hale Memorial Campground and pass through Leadville Colorado on our way to the Mosquito Pass offroad trail and the other side of the "mountain". It's not a difficult trail up to the Pass, but there are plenty of bumps and switchbacks. Along the way are beautiful views, steep shelf road dropoffs and the 13,185' pass summit, all of which were all part of what miners seeking their fortunes endured on the primary route between between the towns of Leadville & Fairplay back in the 1870's.

Every year we take our 2004 Bluebird Wanderlodge M380 motorhome on an allsummer excursion to escape the brutal heat of Texas and the Desert Southwest. Besides the big rig motorcoach Ride Along's between our campground locations, you’ll also find some fun & sometimes challenging Jeep tours in our well equipped 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
