With a body length of up to 3 meters, they can be higher than 2 meters at the withers. Males usually weigh more than females, on average 360600 kilograms, and females 340 kilograms. In Western and Eastern Europe, moose were exterminated, but at the beginning of the 20th century, their population was restored in some countries. The largest number of moose in the world is found in Russia and Canada. From the point of view of zoology, moose are related to deer, although they differ from them visually quite significantly.
