Join us for the first of three videos as we load up our packs and leave base camp to hike deep into the Tongue River Breaks of Southeast Montana. We will be spending two nights and two days hunting where we wont see or hear another hunter. We will be sleeping in a small tent one night and even on the ground under a tarp on night two. The turkeys are plentyfull and the weather will keep things lively as we traverse this rugged and beautiful country. I will be using my old Remington 870 pump shotgun with old school magnum loads, while my son Seth will be carrying his new 410 with heavy shot! Who hunts turkeys with a 410 anyhow??? Well my grandson got his first Merriam gobbler the day before we filmed this hunt using exactly that, a 410. Im becoming a believer myself!
