This is the moment 30 slow lorises were released into the wild after being cruelly kept as pets.

The cute wideeyed primates were swabtested for Covid19 to ensure all of them were free from transmitting the deadly virus to wild loris populations.

Rescuers from the International Animal Rescue (IAR) wore facemasks and maintained social distancing with other workers as they helped reintroduce the Javan slow lorises into Mount Halimun Salak National Park, Indonesia.
