Police say 32yearold Lindsay Clancy tried to jump out a secondfloor window after strangling her children in the basement of her home. Now, she is paralyzed from the waist down. Clancy was a labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her lawyers say she was suffering from postpartum depression and psychosis. However, prosecutors say she was clearthinking and planned the murders. They also claim Clancy used an exercise band to strangle her children to death.
