Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #263
My friends Larry, Jessica, Myron and I set off to travel the length of the famous Mojave Road an epic offroad trail that basically runs for 133 miles from Needles to Barstow, right through the most desolate part of the Mojave Desert! This road follows an ancient Indian path that was later used by pioneer wagon trains so you never know WHAT you'll find on the trail. Along our journey we discovered some truly astonishing, creepy things from abandoned houses to weird shrines to conspiracytinged graffiti....and saw PLENTY of gorgeous, desolate desert landscapes.
In part one of four, we depart at Mile 0 from Fort Mohave, AZ...and wind our way into the California wilderness, stopping for the night at Fort Piute. We only covered 23 miles this first day...but we saw a lot of very strange things. This was an EPIC trip, and I can't wait to do it again!
