More about this video

Gala RV makes only 1 model, the Montecarlo but its fit and finish and attention to detail puts it into a class by itself. It's modern and clean interior would feel right at home in Europe. Curved radius cabinetry and diamond pattern stitching on the sofas are elegant and understated. The new FB21 all composite/nowood model is especially automotive in its looks. There are far fewer seams noticeable and custom molding for cabinets and walls are contoured and molded to perfectly fit together and cover the skin of the van. You'll find little to no naked metal in this coach. The entire bank of upper cabinets in the rear lounge is a single piece of fiberglass and has a modern jet interior feel to it.

The coach is designed for 2 people and sacrifices have been made to optimize its use for a couple. There are no seatbelts other than the 2 cab seats and there is no additional sleeping berth other than the main bed. But, the bed on the longer 2100LX and FB21 models are versatile allowing a couple to sleep in individual twin beds or a large single bed. The bathroom smartly moves the sink just outside and adds a vanity allowing 2 people to get ready in the morning while also opening up valuable space in the shower. It's a smart design. There's a second lounge in the front that utilizes the cab seats so that someone can work up there while another person sleeps in the back bedroom.

The coach is also designed for boondocking. It has enormous fresh and grey water tanks: 45 gallons each and a large 18 gallon black water tank. These numbers are larger than some class B+/C motorhomes. The electrical system features 200w of solar and a 2000w inverter standard. A lithium upgrade for the 2 AGM lead acid batteries however is not offered.

The Montecarlo is only available in Canada right now but Gala RV hopes to bring it to the United States by 2021. Pricing today is $88k for the 1900, $92k for the 2100LX and just under $100k for the brand new all composite interior FB21. U.S. buyers who really want the FB21 can purchase their own RAM Promaster and have Gala RV convert it for $70k.
