Fret not! I still adore the chuckbox I built a couple years ago, and still plan on using it, but exclusively outside of the vehicle. The old way, I used to grab what I needed from it the night before, and stashed it inside, so I would have it in the morning always forgetting something! I wanted a smaller version of my fullsize camp kitchen, that I could keep my coffee making supplies in, as well as some cooking alternatives, for when the weather is bad, or if I'm camping stealth. So I've been packing this crate with all sorts of gear, until I got a combination I like.

The pet food bowls that I use for storing the kettle and mini waffle maker were part of a dog travel kit, but I found some similar ones sold separately. I can't say for sure whether the appliances will fit in them, but they have 105oz capacity, so I would think so.
