Taught by an expert drywall finisher with over 30 years experience, with 90% of that in Drywall ONLY. And yes, I work in a kilt, worn the traditional way, well sort of.

I started out doing new drywall for about 15 years and I've specialized in Drywall repairs for the last 15 years now, and in that time, I've used mesh tape on about 90% of my jobs. And I've never had a callback for cracking in that time, except once, and it was 10 months later, so likely the result of movement, etc. When done properly, as I explain in this video, it works fine. And I've gone back to jobs many years later and looked over dozens of old repairs, and NOT ONCE have I found my repairs to crack, and I'll show you why in this video.
