GameStop and AMC stocks are surging again, often referred to as “meme stocks” due to their popularity with viral posts on social media like Twitter/X and Reddit. Both stocks are up more than 100% in the past week. Wall Street is reminded of the huge enthusiasm in these stocks in 2021 three years ago.
