Orphaned echidna, Puggly, was given to the Alice Springs Desert Park weighing only 112 grams. After 10 days of not eating, finally Carly Humphrys, Mammal Zookeeper, coaxed the monotreme to feed on baby echidna formula from a cup. After a tough start, Puggly is feeding well and has quadrupled its weight.
