Meet Dapper Dan, he is the man! While initially shy, once he opens up, he is a goofy boy who likes to roll around in the grass, play with toys, and eat good snacks! Dapper Dan came from a home with lots of other animals but is ready to find a home to call his own. He’s looking for a patient adopter who is willing to continue working on his training through positive reinforcement techniques.

Big fan of: Seemingly everything! Dan is very adaptable to the situation and finds joy everywhere. He likes to play with other dogs, with humans, and even by himself! When it's time for a walk, he enjoys the sniffs, but also when it's time to chill on the couch he is down to nap. He has never tasted a food he didn’t like and loves to try new flavors. He would like an adopter who is committed to his passion for trying out new foods.

Working on: Dan can still be shy and worried in new situations, so going to a new home may be scary for him at first. He will need some time to adjust before he is comfortable. While he can enjoy petting from his familiar people, he will need time to build trust with a new person. Incorporating play with toys is a great way to start building this bond.

Dream home: Dapper Dan would love a home filled with cozy beds, squeaky toys, and designated snack time, multiple times a day. He also wants an adopter to know that he is willing to taste test their food to make sure it's up to par to his palate. Last on Dapper’s list, another dog friend would just be the icing on the cake!
