I take my Thai dog on a mountain hike in Femundsmarka. Rogen and Grövelsjön are also located there.
I adopted my dog ​​May about four years ago. Since then we have been on lots of adventures. Both mountain hikes and hiking trails below the tree line. Many say that she resembles a Canaan dog, or a Thai ridgeback, I've also heard lace. Mostly I've been told Canaan died.

Before, I always did solo hikes during the snowfree season. But now that I have May, we do all the adventures together except for the ones during the winter when it is too tough for her.
I'm taking you on a trip beyond Grövelsjön on the Norwegian side to the Femundsmarka National Park. We both get to experience a fantastic adventure together, we mostly walk unguided up among the mountain peaks, valleys and in the mountain forest. But also takes the lead as May becomes very exhausted.
We also got to see a completely newborn reindeer calf, which was an incredibly cool nature experience.
Peaks and mountains we visit during our mountain hike in Femundsmarka are Elgåhogna, Storslåga, Sushogna, Digerhogna and Salsfjället. Lakes and places we pitch our tent at are Sandtjonna, a small lake between Sushoga and Rundhogna, a small cozy mountain lake a bit up Storslåga and also near Ronsjoen.

Anyway, we were in Thailand but definitely weren't going to get a dog. However, everyone in the family loves animals so we visited dog rescue where they take care of street dogs that have been abandoned. She chose us as much as we chose her. Now today I am very happy about the decision that made her here with us today. Many adventures in the mountain world await us, just as many on the hiking trails below the tree line. We grow more and more together and form bonds that cannot be broken together.
