The 2024 Golden Trail World Series powered by Salomon kicked off with a trip to Japan for Kobe Trail. After being a dominant force and winning the Golden Trail overall in 2020 and 2021, Maude Mathys has faced a hard battle against injury for the last 2 years. Culminating in Achilles tendon surgery in 2023. Kobe Trail was Maude's first race back, and she went in doubting her chances.
