Matagorda Bay Nature Park | Texas RV Camping | LCRA Parks

Join us as we camp at Matagorda Bay Nature Park in Matagorda, Texas. This Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Park offers RV camping, tent camping, Airstream rentals and (coming soon!) cabins which they are calling Beach Bungalows.

This is a fantastic park to use as a basecamp while you enjoy the Matagorda area... the beaches, the bay, the Colorado River and the town of Matagorda itself. We'll share more about our experience in Matagorda next week!

But if you love nature, fishing, boating, beachcombing, birdwatching or just plain relaxing... this is a park that you want to learn about! We enjoyed Matagorda Bay Nature Park so much that we extended our stay from 5 nights to 13 nights!
