A short clip from the Truckers4Hope truck show in Mill Hall, PA last month that I never got around to uploading. This section of the display featured several old Kenworths (three W900A models and an older needle nose) running the massive 1150 cubicinch Cummins KTA engines, including one with twin turbos. The KT (450 HP stock) and KTA (aftercooled 525/600 HP stock) became an option for trucks (mostly Peterbilt, Kenworth, and International) in the mid 1970's and were Cummins' response to engines like the CAT 3408 and Detroit Diesel 12V71. They were unique in that they had six individual cylinder heads, among a few other features that set them apart from the smaller NT/NTC (855) engines. These engines are known to "lope" at idle, which sounds badass you can imagine just how badass four of them together sounded! I don't know all the specs on these particular trucks (and engines), but something tells me they aren't making stock horsepower. Lol. Just look at the frames twist!
