Massey Ferguson's history dates back to the 1950s. Founded in 1891, Massey Harris company becomes an important producer in agriculture in America, Canada and Europe with the combines and tractors it produces. By designing the world's first threepoint hydraulic linkage system, Harry Ferguson revolutionizes the tractor industry. The two companies merged in 1953 and the company was renamed Massey Ferguson.

In 1955, the first tractor, the Massey Ferguson 35, goes on sale. Then Masey Ferguson 135, 165 and 185 became the best selling tractors in the world and in Turkey. Later, the 200 series hits the market. The economically priced Masey Ferguson 240 becomes the most preferred tractor of the 265 era. The more powerful high horse Massey Ferguson 2000 series also begins production. In 196, Massey Ferguson tractors are started to be produced at the Uzel factory in Turkey.

In 1981 the Massey Ferguson 500 series is replaced by the 300 series. Massey Ferguson 398 becomes one of the best selling tractors in Turkey. In the 2000s, the Massey Ferguson 2630, 4500 and 5400 series became the most technological, most comfortable and powerful tractors in the industry. Massey Ferguson's story begins.
