If you're in the process of soundproofing a wall, you might have heard of mass loaded vinyl and green glue noise proofing compound. A lot of people has been asking me, which one of the two is the best sound proofing material to make a soundproof wall?

These two products are very different, where green glue is a liquid that is meant to be applied between two layers of drywall, creating a barrier. Mass loaded vinyl is more of a physical product where it is a heavy, dense rubber like material that works very well at blocking and also absorbing lower frequency noises.
