We stayed at Margaritaville Beach House (use to be Barbary House)for 2 nights. It is a quiet, well themed hotel. I use that word, as I wouldn’t classify it as a “resort”. There is one restaurant, which has the only bar, as well as one pool. The music was on point for us and never too loud, plus stopped at 11pm. There were speakers through out the property, so we could actually sit on our balcony to enjoy it with a nice view of the beach. Smathers Beach is across the street and is a public one. It's an easy walk over to it, where there are lots of options for Water Sport Rentals. The Hotel also has a Concierge Desk to help your reserve some things, if you wish. Those of you planning with us, we can get tours or excursions like Sunset Cruises, Hop on/off buses, museum etc reserved before you go on your trip. It's actually a good idea for certain things, on certain dates, as many sell out quick. So best to have it reserved before you go.
