Hello my name is Stephen Taylor and in 2016 I bought a derelict shop in Birkenhead, U.K for £26,000 at auction.

This building was in such a poor state that the guide price at auction was just £10,000 £12,000.

With a lot of hard work over the last five years I have now transformed it into a modern four bedroom home.

I have worked as a joiner for 20 years and on this project I did as much of the work as possible myself to save money.

In this video I take you through the renovation from start to finish.

** Quick update: 10/3/22**
The video has had a crazy amount of views in the past few weeks and I am noticing that there are regular comments are about the voiceover being too quiet. I really appreciate the feedback as this was the first video that I have ever made with a voiceover. I think my accent is also part of the problem, and I will look into how to add subtitles to the video. Thanks a lot for all of your comments and support ☀
