Sometimes you see something you didn't see previously that changes your plans. That was the case today as we went to move these sheep to the pasture we had planned to lamb them on but decided to lamb them where they are. You want to have enough forage to not have to move them far once they start lambing. You also want cover for them during rain events. After talking about it with Travis we decided to leave them on the cereal rye to lamb and move them to the fence line with large cedar trees available when significant rain is in the forecast.
