I never knew I needed a pastel chemise a la reine until I saw Maggie's and then I decided I needed one immediately. So I made a lavender chemise a la reine! I think it turned out super cute and it was a very quick project and super comfortable to wear. Probably the only thing I could've worn to the lavender festival that didn't give me heat stroke. 10/10 recommend making one, it takes a lot of fabric but it's honestly super easy because it's just gathering a ton of rectangles. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that I added elastic to the arm ribbons because I didn't end up gathering them enough to be tight on my arm, and honestly I think elastic was a better solution anyways because non elastic things on arms tend to fall down constantly.
