Mastersmith Kyle Royer is finishing the Damascus for the dagger called Serenity. The pattern will look amazing with beautiful layers, in fact, there are over 130k layers in the Damascus pattern!

About The Serenity Dagger
The blade will be 16 inches long with an aggressive taper, multiple fullers (blood grooves) on the ricasso, and one main fuller running down the blade. The blade will be made of a oneofakind mosaic Damascus.

The fittings will be gunblued steel with gold inlays and a new technique I've been working on, Damascene.

The handle is going to be extra special. Mom, Josh, and I just traveled 2,400 miles in search of beautiful stones and found a wonderful piece of purple/lavender Charoite. This will be my first knife to have a stone handle. I've wanted to add stone handles to my art knives for many years now and I'm so excited that the time has finally come to give it a shot!
