Come watch and I'll show you two ways to make a fitted crib or toddler sheet: one that's quick and fast with exposed elastic; and the other that's also quick and fast, but with a beautiful casing to hide the elastic.

TO MAKE A CUSTOM SIZE SHEET:
Note: You will need to play with the math. This just gives you a general idea:
Take the length and width of your mattress, PLUS the height of your mattress, PLUS however much you want it to tuck under (you prob want it to tuck under a few inches). Then cut a large rectangle of fabric those dimensions (with all those added lengths). Then you need to cut 4 squares from the corners that are the height of your mattress PLUS however much you want the sheet will tuck under/around the mattress. For instance, in my project, the mattress is 6 inches tall, so I cut out the squares 8x8 inches.
Just experiment and see how it goes!
