Magruder Corridor Adventure

We struck off to see what the Magruder Corridor was about in October. It just so happens it is basically out our back door, so in no time we were off the pavement and on the trail. We spent four days exploring the Magruder as some of the research we did indicated that while we could travel it in two days we wouldn't have time to relax and explore. Four days ended up about right for us.

The Magruder Corridor is also known as the southern Nez Perce Trail (Lolo being the northern route). There are plenty of places to camp along the way, and nearly endless side trips you could potentially take. The main road was in great shape, and it appeared that some of it had been graded right before we drove it. If you have ok clearance you won't need four wheel drive if you don't plan to explore off the main road.
