✑ I always liked visiting the stone circle on the hill above our village. Something was calling to me from that place. As soon as I stood within the stones I felt at peace. Something was holding me there, a sense of belonging and... rightness. Was it magic? Powers long forgotten?

The backstory to Stone Circle ambience
About 15 years ago I visited a stone circle in Peak District as part of a field trip with my class. It wasn't much, as all the stones had already fallen. But once we were within them, it was like we were enchanted. We were suddenly so excited to be there and the teachers couldn't make us leave. Even my skeptical no nonsense friends agreed they felt some kind of energy at the place. Years later I still feel this longing for the place...
