There are many people that are looking to become a lyft driver. Being a lyft driver has been a great experience. All drivers have to go through a background check to become a lyft driver, so you don't have to worry about stranger danger driving you around. Tip 1. Drive on weekends at nights because this is when people are mostly out and about. Tip 3. Make sure you give your passengers a great experience. You don't want bad ratings. If you don't receive good ratings lyft will ban you from driving for them. Let them be DJ in your car, let them charge there phones in your car, provide them with cold bottled waters, and give them something to snack on. Just be creative!

Tip 4. Signup for other ride sharing companies. You don't want to rely on one source of income. Especially if you are driving for a living and you have a family to support and put food on the table. If one company is slow you have other options. Turn on all the apps and whichever one gives you a job turn off the others and repeat the process. You will start to track down which apps work best for certain times of the day. Test out different times and places and make it a routine to keep a consistent income. You can make some good money doing this. These are the people that are making $1$2.5 weekly. You can make as much as you want to in the week. All you have to do is put in the work.

Tip 5. Being a lyft driver you have access to the heat maps to see which areas are hot around you. Try and stay away from the heat maps. I learned the hard way by always staying in the area. I had would wait up for 30 minutes to an hour trying to give someone a ride. There are a lot of drivers just camping out the area because you get a power bonus when you pick someone up in a busy area. The only time I recommend to be in the hot spots is when there as big event happening.
