Cutting down trees sounds like a simple task, but it’s a lot more complicated – and dangerous – than you might think. And although loggers use a rough chainsaw as their main tool to ‘fell’ trees, each case requires precise preparation. Loggers need to assess the local wind conditions, and whether or not the tree is leaning on a slope to know what specific direction it will fall. One fatal miscalculation and a logger could be crushed!
