The “Ring” adapter wouldn’t allow my torque converter to mate to the flexplate, there was a .200” Gap.
The proper way to mount a TH400 to an LS engine with standard crankshaft flange is to use a 6.0 flange adapter, longer bolts, and a Flat flexplate.
A flat flexplate w/hub adapter puts the ring gear in the same position as a dished flexplate mounted to the flange/hub.
