This time on SPPTV I do my best to pass on the knowledge I have gained through the years building over 20 stand alone LS wiring harnesses. I am no professional and you should do your own research before jumping into a project like this, but I have never had any problems.

ReWiring a stock GM truck wiring harness is intimidating if you are new to this kind of thing, but it is relatively simple if you follow some steps. The best advice I can give is to do things in sections. Focus on one part of the wiring harness at a time and then tape it up, put it to the side, etc. .

In this video I show how you can convert a factory Silverado wiring harness to be used in a LS swap vehicle of any type. I cover the pcm connectors and de pinning. Removing connectors and unneeded wires. Power wires and which wires to connect to outside sources, and more.
