This project was completed about four years ago. Many times as we all know in a home the ceilings are generally flat, and about 8 feet tall and above the sheet rock, there is trusses. Well, in this case, I took the flat part of the ceiling out and made arched plywood trusses that attached to the existing trusses and was able to get rid of all below that. In this case, I did it with an arch. I also do this with regular vaulted ceilings and put in post and beam construction to raise the ceilings. It's a dramatic change and relatively costeffective.

It puts the house to a whole other level. The customer I did this for has since told me that it is the talk of anyone that comes to visit.

They are blown away by the originality of having a curve ceiling and curved beams like that. In this video, I show you how I did it and really how simple it can be for any seasoned carpenter.
