A special Mythical Ireland (www.mythicalireland.com) film production examines the myths, history and astronomical aligments of the Loughcrew cairns in County Meath. Anthony Murphy explores the importance of the cairns at Slieve na Calliagh, outlining some of the myths and history of the Neolithic passagetombs while also examining their astronomical alignments. The documentary was made in conjunction with filmmaker Grant Wakefield, and contains beautiful music by Andrew Heath. It was first premiered on the 'History with Kayleigh' YouTube channel on the day of Bealtaine (5th May) 2024.
