Lord Buckley is in his end stage unfortunately. I don’t know how much longer he’ll be with us, but I’m happy for every day. A little bird came flying into the house and crashed into a window and hit the floor. I scooped her up and she perched on my finger for a long time. It surprised me. I think she was a little dazed. It took her awhile to regain her senses but I think she was enjoying the sweet, close contact for awhile. I gave her a ride on the imaginary Ferris wheel which I think she enjoyed. It was pretty cool. This happens from time to time. Usually it’s hard to get hold of them and they can’t wait to be free. But this was something different. Little Buck showed up a bit later. His pals all ran for the hills. There’s such a contrast in those we know and those we don’t. Makes me realize how lucky we all are to be able to spend so much time closely observing and just peacefully being with these guys.
