For the longest time we thought wild horses in the Eastern US could only be found on Assateague Island but we recently found out you can find a herd of wild horses out on the North Carolina barrier islands the Outer Banks! Have you ever heard about wild horses living freely in North Carolina or if you have visited the Outer Banks have you ever tried driving a 4x4 on the beach in search of them?
