There are heroes… there are superheroes… and then there is Hancock.
With great power comes great responsibility.
Everybody knows. Everyone except Hancock.
Dissatisfied, tormented, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's heroic and wellmeaning actions serve their purpose and save many lives but always cause tremendous mischief.
The population can't take it anymore, and although they are grateful to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles, they wonder what they have done to deserve this guy.
Hancock is not someone who cares what people think, until the day he saves Ray Embrey's life.
And that's when the unpopular superhero realizes that, after all, he has a vulnerable side.
