This is the longplay of Mickey Mania, action and platform game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Sony Imagesoft for the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and Sega CD in 1994. This is a SNES version!

The Mickey Mania game does not have just one plot, but several plots within the game, as each of the stages represents a cartoon movie that marked Mickey's career, with stories ranging from the 1930s to the 1990s.

In the game, the character Mickey can shoot balls or jump at enemies, in addition to having to solve some puzzles and overcome obstacles and enemies of the stage he is in. Each stage has very unique elements, each based on Mickey Mouse movies. The game is quite beautiful, faithful to each of the short films, has good gameplay and a great soundtrack. Unfortunately this SNES version does not have The Band Concert level (based on the 1935 movie)

Originally, Mickey Mania was planned to be released to coincide with Mickey's 65th birthday in 1993. However, as that would have only allowed for six months to develop the game, this idea was soon scrapped in favor of the more compelling concept of Mickey traveling back in time to his own original classic cartoons and subsequently recreating the events of the aforementioned shorts in the process. The game pays tribute to Mickey's early cartoon career.
A sequel called Mickey Mania 2 was planned, but unfortunately it was canceled as the developer wanted to focus on Toy Story games.
Mickey Mania is a very good, relatively challenging game that reminds us of the early days of Mickey Mouse.
