Marlin Trucking and Logging, winter 2024 cutting hardwood saw logs. This bush is mostly maple. We were cutting by hand and skidding with a John Deere 748. This was originally a grapple skidder but is set up now to be used as a cable skidder. This machine is extremely powerful, it breaks chokers and bells without even grunting. There is some footage from another tornado cleanup job using a John Deere 648 Grapple Skidder as well.
