Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a classic Arrow looping coaster from 1978. It opened as the tallest and fastest coaster in the world. Its iconic interlocking vertical loops are currently the only ones of its kind. For the 2024 season, the ride went under a major refurbishment, which included replacing large sections of track and adding new theming elements. I was able to attend the media event with the American Coaster Enthusiasts to help fill the trains for the news crews, and to also check out the new enhancements made to this iconic coaster.
