We are featuring our llama in this video. Our llama, Penny, is on loan to us indefinitely from our sheep breeder. We didn't have our perimeter fence quite complete yet when we got our breeding stock so we couldn't get a livestock guardian dog. Instead, we got Penny the llama.
Llamas offer some protection to sheep from large predators such as coyotes and wolves. They aren't as aggressive as a livestock guardian dog but they do have some benefits they offer that dogs don't. Check out this video to find out more.
